Samsara is often misunderstood as the outside world.
Please understand that when we use this word, samsara,
we are referring to the confused inner world of our emotions, judgements, expectations,
and the actions that we create through being influenced by these confusions.
This is why we practice Dharma, in order to see this.
All of our problems are actually self-created, therefore they have the potential to be self-liberated.
— Phakchok Rinpoche

I still recall how, with my bag on a pole, I forgot my yesterdays.
Wandered the hills, played in the water, went to the land of the clouds.
The lift of an eyebrow, the blink of an eye -- all of it samadhi (deep absorption).
In this great world there is nowhere that is not a Wisdom Hall.
— Ziyong (18th c. Chinese Buddhist Nun)
